Kees about this song: Before writing this song we read John 4, the story about the Samaritan woman at the well. She was so craving for live and love, that it almost destroyed her completely. It left her dry and lonely in the end. Jesus understands her craving, her longing and gives her what she really needs, what she has been searching for: Living water. He introduces her to the Father, explaning about true worship. I see myself in this Samaritan woman. So much of my own craving in my life has left me empty handed. I wasn't aware of the fact that it was God that I was looking for.
